"What's eating Gilbert Grape"

This movie is filled with sadness, joy, laughter and disgust. Gilbert, the oldest brother realizes the difficulty in taking care of his mentally ill brother, Arnie, and his mortally obese mother and trying to manage a new love life.
Created in 1993, this film also stars two of the best looking, best acting actors of this time, Johnny Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio. The family's love and fun suddenly changes with the unexpected death of the mother. The boys mother suffered a heart attack going up the stairs to the bedroom she hadn't visited in years. Her death brings the family together to try to find a way to bury the womans overly large body without the presence of camaras. Gilbert plan was a extraordinary way to show his mother, whom he made fun of all his life, the love and respect he truly has for her.
